Finesse Restore + Strengthen Shampoo & Conditioner

My hair has been a bit unruly lately. Easily knotted, frizzy, and the list goes on. I’ve got a hair appointment next week, but in the mean time I was happy to try out Finesse’s Restore + Strengthen Moisturizing Shampoo & Conditioner to see if it would do anything for my hair.

Finesse Restore & Strengthen

Finesse describes this shampoo and conditioner duo as a moisturizing system for dry, damaged, frizzy, or stubborn hair.

“Get hair that’s healthier, stronger, and more alive with Finesse®. Infused with active proteins that penetrate deep into the hair shaft, Finesse® Restore + Strengthen Moisturizing Shampoo leaves hair more moisturized and manageable. It helps restore and strengthen hair that is dry, damaged, frizzy, coarse, or simply stubborn. Hair is left feeling clean and silky soft while being easier to style.”

So does it live up to its claim? Yes! Ok, truth be told my hair still gets into knots, but it’s smoother and has less fly aways, and frizz. The shampoo and conditioner don’t smell amazing, which is a little bit of a let down, but the results are pretty great. It’s not that they smell bad, but they have a particular scent that I can’t quite put my finger on. Bottom line, it doesn’t smell like some amazing spa product, but it’s okay because the scent doesn’t linger and it’s a tiny price to pay for nice, smooth hair.

There are a variety of supermarkets and drugstore you can find Finesse Restore + Strengthen such as Walgreens and Walmart.

It’s been years since I’ve used Finesse, but I’m pretty happy with these products!
