MAC Skinfinish -Snowflushed

I’m a little late with this post on MAC’s holiday release Skinfinish – Shiny Pretty Things in the shade “Snowflushed”, but it’s on sale right now so maybe I’m actually right on time?

I always love checking out the MAC holiday collection because there’s always so much to choose from and the theme and packaging are always so pretty. This year I only picked up one item from the collection and it was this Extra Dimension Skinfinish / Shiny Pretty Things in “Snowflushed”. The mirrored silver compact holds the product inside which is embossed with a bow – so seasonally appropriate. I’m not going to lie, I mostly got this because of the bow!

This highlighter is in a metallic bronze pink shade. It definitely looks more pinky in the pan than swatched out, but there is the subtle pink mixed in for a beautiful glow on the cheeks. I swatched it out heavier than I would actually apply it to my face so when it’s on the face it is not really sparkly it just gives a pretty sheen.

It comes in one other shade called “Oh Darling” and that one is a metallic gold, but I thought that the metallic bronze pink was something different than the highlighters I have and I wanted something a bit warmer.

As mentioned above it’s on sale right now and since it was a holiday item I’m sure it’ll be gone really soon if it’s not gone already! It was still in stock as of last night so if you can still get it I would grab it!
