Golden Globes 2020 Red Carpet Picks
I love award season for multiple reasons, two of which being that I love movies and tv so I’m always interested to see who wins and I love seeing the red carpet fashion. Side story – did anyone catch the story yesterday about Rita Wilson’s glam squad going missing/not showing up? I want to know what happened and who ended up doing her hair and makeup for the show! As if that wouldn’t be panic inducing enough, her husband the infamous Tom Hanks was being honored with the Cecil B. DeMille award last night so I’m sure she wanted to be extra glamorous! And by the way, his speech was so good! Those montages of people’s careers always get me emotional.
No looks last night absolutely wowed me, but there were a lot that I liked. Here are 8 in no particular order!
There’s something I just really love about the gown Isla Fisher wore. The exaggerated sleeves work on this gown and I think this color looks great on her!

Love this white gown Reese Witherspoon wore with the ruffled/asymmetrical fold. She looks amazing!

This amazing Valentino gown that Jennifer Lopez wore is probably my favorite. The colors! The huge bow! It’s just stunning!

Suits on women at awards shows is always hit or miss and Phoebe Waller-Bridge hit it out of the park. You can’t tell here, but her quilted pantsuit is bedazzled and sparkly allover and she has that embellishment on her shoulder. The deep v keeps it super sexy and feminine too.

I love this two-piece ensemble Margot Robbie wore! She wore a Chanel Haute Couture embroidered, metallic multicolor bustier and a satin skirt. The bustier is gorgeous!

Okay, I know there are going to be a lot of people who think Kaitlyn Dever’s gown is ugly and the all over floral print and puffy sleeves is too much – but there’s just something about it that I love!

I love this sparkly blue Ralph & Russo gown that Ana de Armas wore. So prety! Iti’s that kind of sequins that from far away gives that wet sheen look and I think it’s just perfection.

Love this pink tulle dream that Sofia Carson wore. This Giambattista Valli gown is the ultimate princess moment gown.

There were a few other looks that I really liked, but these were just 8 that I liked the most! Were there any looks you particularly liked?
