Golden Globes 2020 Red Carpet Picks

I love award season for multiple reasons, two of which being that I love movies and tv so I’m always interested to see who wins and I love seeing the red carpet fashion. Side story – did anyone catch the story yesterday about Rita Wilson’s glam squad going missing/not showing up? I want to know what happened and who ended up doing her hair and makeup for the show! As if that wouldn’t be panic inducing enough, her husband the infamous Tom Hanks was being honored with the Cecil B. DeMille award last night so I’m sure she wanted to be extra glamorous! And by the way, his speech was…

    Emmy 2018 Red Carpet

Did you catch the Emmy’s last night? I watched most of it – I had it on in the background as I got some work done. Did you see the proposal during one of the award acceptances? So sweet! I’ve rounded up a few of the looks I loved from last night. There are probably a few great looks that I didn’t see. I saw Gina Rodriguez present and I loved her blue gown but I could’t find a photo of her online last night! So here are the photos of outfits I did see on TV or online and loved (in no particular order) There wasn’t anything particularly special…

    Met Gala 2018

This is coming a day late, but I didn’t have a chance to go through all the Met Gala looks until yesterday. The theme this year was “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion & the Catholic Imagination” so think over the top, ornate, rich fabric looks. For some reason renaissance looks come to mind for me. I’ve rounded up some looks I personally loved below. First up, Blake Lively looked amazing as usual in Atelier Versace. I loved every inch of this dress. I read somewhere that she needed to ride in a bus because her gown wouldn’t fit in a regular car. Not sure if that was a joke or not, but I…

    Golden Globes 2018 Red Carpet

Today’s my first day back at work after being sick and having two sick days so hopefully it will be an easy day back! I spent my last evening of my little break watching the Golden Globes and as usual have rounded up some of the looks I loved from the red carpet. As I’m sure many of you are already aware of, a majority of the stars – both men and women – wore black last night to show their solidarity for the victims of sexual assault and the promotion of awareness for gender and racial inequalities. It was a sea of black and there were so many fabulous…

    Style Inspiration: Emma Watson

We’ve watched Emma Watson grow up before our eyes. From a pre-teen on the big screen as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films to Belle in the soon-to-be released Beauty and the Beast live-action movie. Aside from her film accomplishments she’s become quite the style icon and someone for women everywhere to look up to for her intelligence, grace, and voice in the fight for equal rights. I’m such an Emma Watson fan so I’m really excited to see her in the new Beauty & the Beast film since it was my favorite Disney movie growing up. I already have plans to see it this Friday! A post on my thoughts on…

    Oscars 2017 Fashion Picks

Did you watch the Oscars last night? I loved Justin Timberlake kicking the night off with “Can’t Stop the Feeling” – so fun! Jimmy Kimmel was funny as host and I loved all the humorous and inspirational moments regarding our country’s current state of affairs from all the presenters and award winners. They kept it light while also making an impact. Other thoughts – the show was so long! I don’t remember the last time the show ended past midnight on the east coast. The bit with the tourists was cool but seriously that took up so much time! Also how crazy was the end of the show with the…
