Simple 4th of July Look

Happy 4th of July!

The holiday is looking different for many of us this year. For one we have to social distance so many of us are either not doing anything today or keeping it very small. Many towns have canceled fireworks etc. There’s also the idea of freedom/independence in the country in the midst of all the movements for equal rights in the country, so it feels like an especially weird holiday this year.

This year, I wanted to wear a really simple, understated red, white, and blue look. I saw this red patterned bow headband from Old Navy and thought that would be such a great piece for the 4th. I decided to wear it with a white u-neck tank and tulip chambray shorts.

Such an easy look to throw together and a great example of how you don’t need to go out of your way to create a holiday outfit. Obviously, I bought this headband for the holidays, but if you have a red or patriotic looking headband or hair accessory then you wouldn’t have to buy anything separately.
