#fbf Delicata Squash

Last year I saw Molly Yeh from Girl Meets Farm on Food Network make delicata squash and I really wanted to try it, but I could not find it anywhere. I mean anywhere! I went to Shoprite, Wegman’s, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, and my local farmer’s market. Could not find it.

I was reminded of it a few weeks ago when I saw a blogger, Lauren from Lakeshore Lady, post a recipe on Instagram using delicata squash. So the next weekend when I did my weekly grocery run, I went to look for it again. I finally found it and had to take a photo!

I, of course, got one and roasted it a few days later! But here’s the funny thing, when I was at the store the next week I went to see if they still had the squash and it was nowhere to be found again. I’m going to look again when I go this weekend, but wouldn’t that be crazy if the only time i ever saw it this season was that one day?
