Axe Throwing

Last weekend I went axe or hatchet throwing for the first time. If you know me in real life then you know I have never had any desire to go axe throwing. I think it’s a terrible idea to let people throw axes! Especially when alcohol is allowed. I mean, I’m the person who also thinks darts in a bar is horrible idea. But, my bestie asked me to go with her and some of her friends from work. Her friends were going with their spouses and her husband didn’t want to go/had to watch the kids so I agreed to go. I seriously did text her husband and asked if this was an elaborate plot to murder me by axe though.

It ended up being a lot of fun. I was a little nervous at first because as I watched, I had this feeling I would just be terrible at it. I wasn’t too bad. I got it to stick a few times. It’s a lot harder to get the axe to really stick to the target than it looks!
