Book Recommendation Based on a Song

A week or two ago I saw a bookstagram acount called @pawsomereads post a book recommendation based on her top Spotify song. I thought it was such a fun challenge so I looked to see what my top song on the app was for May. It was “Big Energy” by Latto – specifically the remix with Mariah Carey and DJ Khaled. Such a fun song!

The book recommendation I would give based on the lyrics to this song would be A Court of Silver Flames.

The song is perfect for Nesta and Cassian in this novel from the A Court of Thorns and Roses series. Nesta is a force to be reckoned with and she is not everyone’s cup of tea. But Cassian loves her for her and is pretty much the only person who will put up with her sh*t haha.

In the earlier novels in the series, I really did not care for Nesta. When I heard the latest book would focus on her I was not exactly thrilled, but of course I had to see what Sarah J. Maas had in store for her readers. The novel was amazing, of course, and it made me love Nesta.
