Empire of Storms – Song Choice

Last week I shared my book recommendation based on my top Spotify song for May. Today I’m sharing something a little bit different. I randomly thought of the Martin Garrix feat. Khalid song, “Ocean”, and the chorus immediately made me think of Empire of Storms from the Throne of Glass series – specifically the end of the book.

At the end of Empire of Storms, Aelin has been taken by Maeve. It’s revealed that she and Rowan were secretly married and when he learns that she’s been taken he vows to not stop until he finds her.
