10 FMCs I Love

March is Women’s History Month and today is International Women’s Day so what better day to share some of the female main characters I love. There are a ton of female characters I love, but that would be a very long list so here are just 10 that I absolutely love.

  • Hannah from The Deal – She’s so strong and optimistic about life despite trauma in her past.
  • Feyre from the A Court of Thorns and Roses series – Obviously I had to include Feyre because she’s such an awesome character! She’ll always be a favorite of mine.
  • Auren from the Plated Prisoner series – Auren goes through so much growth as a character in the series and I just love her.
  • Evelyn from The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo – Evelyn is such an amazing character. I was in awe of her the entire book and thought she was brilliant. She knew what she wanted in her career and did what she needed to do to make it happen.
  • Hazel from Josh & Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating – I just love how quirky Hazel is and how she marches to the beat of her own drum.
  • Stella from The Kiss Quotient – I love that Stella is autistic and totally owns her differences and isn’t ashamed or made to seem as a lesser character. She is strong, smart, beautiful, and actively works to make her life what she wants it to be.
  • Avery from The Inheritance Games series – I love Avery. She’s so smart and mature for her age and I love how she handles being thrust into her new life.
  • Bryce from the Crescent City seriesI pretty much love all of Sarah J. Maas’ main female characters and Bryce is no exception. She’s so badass.
  • Aelin from the Throne of Glass series – I don’t know who is more badass, Aelin or Bryce!
  • Nesta from A Court of Silver Flames – I, like many people, did not like Nesta in the first three ACOTAR books. But, in A Court of Silver Flames you get to really know her and see her strength/how amazing she could be and then I absolutely loved her.

There are so many more female main characters I love and wish I had the time to include!

Do you see any here that you also love?

P.S. My Ruth Bader Ginsburg graphic tee is from last year from Old Navy and says “Girls with dreams become women with vision”.
