KnewKey Mechanical Keyboard

Ever since I was a little kid I’ve had a fascination with clicky keyboards so when I saw over the past year that all these cool and fun wireless keyboards with keyboards that clickity clack I needed to get my hands on one. I looked around a bit and then on Black Friday I saw that KnewKey was having a sale on their Rymek Chic Mechanical Keyboard and that it lights up! It actually took a few months for it to arrive, but I love it. I just recently set it up and I’ve used it on my office/guest room desk and on my lap in front of the tv too. Right now I’ve only paired it with my iPad mini but this summer I may get a monitor too. I’m hoping to finally get my butt in gear and start writing again this summer so maybe having a fun keyboard and set up will motivate me.

The last photo is from when I was writing a blog post the other night. I normally have the iPad turned horizontally, but because I needed to reach the buttons on the touch screen of the iPad to add media/links to my post I turned it vertical because it was hard to get my finger in there.

I haven’t messed around with it too much, but I do know that there are different light settings (like blinking etc) and the clicking is so satisfying! I’m posting a Reel on Instagram today and left the original sound on so you can hear the clicking!

Anyway, I love everything about it. It looks like a vintage typewriter, but also sleek and modern. The colors, the clicking, the light up function, etc.
