Outlander Candle Carousel

Are you a fan of the tv show and/or book Outlander? I am! I haven’t read the books, but I’ve been watching the show since it started years ago. When I saw this candle carousel on Litjoy Crate, I thought it was so cute. It’s technically called the Sassenach Candle Carousel, and if you are familiar with the show/book then you’ll get it! I got this a while ago, but since the new season of the show just started last week, I thought now was the perfect time to share it!

It doesn’t come with the candle, but I have some tea light candles so I just put one there. The website actually uses a bigger candle in their photos so you can use whatever will fit on the dish. I love all the details, the dangling dragonflies that spin and the metal dish that has the iconic first lines to the theme song.

If you’re unfamiliar with the theme song, the first lines are:

“Sing me a song of a lass that is gone
Say, could that lass be I?
Merry of soul, she sailed on a day
Over the sea to Skye”
