Book Spotlight: The Game Cafe
I was sent The Game Cafe by Eleanor Lerman a while ago and I just got to it on my tbr.

The book is made up of short stories taking place during the height of the Coronavirus pandemic. Each story focuses on a character living in New York City or traveling to NYC during this time. I read half of the book and I actually was really interested in all the stories I read! They were well-written and really engaging. There was a running theme of people having a deep connection to the city and wanting to maintain a sense of human connection during this time of quarantine or social distancing. I will probably eventually read the rest of the book, but I just needed a break even though the book isn’t long by any means, because there were only so many short stories in a row I could read about covid times! Nonetheless, I wanted to spotlight the book since I had been sent it so long ago!
