Great Activities For Couples That You Might Not Have Tried

Taking your significant other out for the day is a lot of fun. It’s just the two of you, it’s super romantic, and you can get up to all sorts when you’re away from everyone else and have all the time in the world! It’s a pretty magical concept, right?

However, it’s also quite easy for it to get stale as well. When it feels like you and your partner have been together forever, you’ve probably already done everything that interests the two of you! That’s why we’ve put together a little list of activities you could try out; check them out below.

Try Out an Open Mic Night Together

Open mic nights are always free to attend and you can witness a lot of local talent at one. Why not step up to the mic and see if you can make people laugh, or appreciate your singing talent outside of a drunken karaoke night? Or if you’d like, you can just zero in on your partner and try to impress them. This night is about the two of you, after all!

Go Offroading Together

You might not think of offroading as a good couples’ activity, but it can be fun, exhilarating, and something you’re never going to forget doing together. Doing something risky can bring people closer together, and you certainly get to see who the two of you are when there’s a bit of pressure on.

You might even find a new passion here, and start buying equipment like Interco super swamper tires for your own vehicle, in order to make it better at handling mud. If you live in a pretty remote area, this is definitely an activity to try, as it makes good use of all the free space around you.

Take a Boat on a Lake

Is there a lake near you? Maybe it’s about an hour’s drive away? That’s fine! Why not rent a boat and go out on it for the day? Turn up early in the morning, get a boat tethered and step on board. Make sure you pack yourself a hearty picnic to take with you and then dig into it when you’re in the middle of the lake and just cruising. You could even try a bit of fishing together, if there’s a good haul to be found under the surface.

Go on a Ghost Hunt

Whether or not you believe in ghosts and ghouls, a ghost hunt can be a lot of fun. If neither of you take it seriously, you can spend a night in a haunted house together with a group, be guided around and take part in seances, and once again make each other laugh with how spooky things are meant to be. Make sure you take some silly selfies for the album at home!

If you want to have a good time with your partner over the weekend, try these activities.
