A Touch of Poison Quote

I mentioned yesterday that I’m currently reading I’ll Always Be With You on my Kindle and will most likely finish it today. For my physical read, I am about 65% in to A Touch of Poison, which is book 2 in the Shadows of the Tenebris Court series by Clare Sager. You can read my review for book 1, A Kiss of Iron, here.

While I was reading A Touch of Poison the other day a quote/exchange between two characters stood out to me and really resonated with me.

I just love this exchange and the idea of keeping quiet so as to not make waves or problems for others seems so relatable and I’m sure relatable for a lot of people.

I just got to a part of the book where a twist has occurred so I can’t wait to see what happens next!
