FMCs that March to the Beat of Their Own Drum

Happy International Women’s Day! In the past I’ve shared fmcs that I love or that are fierce, etc. to celebrate this day. Today, I wanted to share some female characters that are quirky or do things their way, march to the beat of their own drum so to say.

• Remington Honeysuckle Ford or Remi from Forever Never – Remi does things her way, even if she’s unpredictable at times. She embraces the fact that she can see music in colors.
• Hallie Welch from Secretly Yours – She moves at her own pace and schedule and dresses how she wants.
• Hazel Bradford from Josh & Hazel’s Guide to Not Dating – Hazel is quirky and she knows she’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but she doesn’t care.
• Liz Buxbaum from Better than the Movies – Liz is a romcom lover who loves dressing in classic and old school styles and she doesn’t care if others don’t get it.
