Book Review: A Touch of Chaos
It’s the end of an era – A Touch of Chaos – the last book in the Hades x Persephone Saga by Scarlett St. Clair came out this spring and I just finished it.

The novel picks up where A Game of Gods left off – Theseus has infiltrated the Underworld and attacked some of Persephone’s friends and loved ones and Hades is being held captive. Theseus is leading a revolt of demigods to try to get all the mortals to give up on the Gods and overthrow the Olympians. Persephone, Hades, and their friends must all work together to bring down Theseus before he unleashes more havoc and kills them all.
I loved being reunited with Persephone and Hades and seeing all my favs like Hermes, Hecate, Dionysus, Ariadne, Aphrodite, Hephaestus, Apollo, etc. again. I always forget how hilarious Hermes is and he’s the perfect comic relief. I loved seeing them all work together and the battle scene was my favorite. I don’t want to give too much away, but it was really good and the ending was a perfect wrap up to the 7 book saga.
I can’t wait for Scarlett St. Clair to come out with her Aphrodite x Hephaestus book and hope she does do the Dionysus x Ariadne book that she’s considering!
Persephone and Hades for life!
