Aaron Blackford & Tacos

Happy Cinco de Mayo! When I think of Cinco de Mayo, I think of tacos. And when I think of tacos, I think of Aaron Blackford from The Spanish Love Deception by Elena Armas. It’s my favorite book by her!

So why do I think of Aaron Blackford when tacos come to mind? There’s an iconic scene in the book where he picks up tacos from Lina’s favorite spot and she originally reluctantly asks for 3 tacos. When she realizes he’s not just trying to be nice to her, she then asks him to make it 4 tacos. After he picks up her food, she realizes he got her 5 tacos. Best book boyfriend!
