Travel Essentials For The Adventurous Traveller
If you are a thrill-seeker, the chances are that there are only so many days you can spend lounging by the pool, sipping cocktails before you begin to crave change. This means that your definition of vacation may be a little different from the norm – and as a result, so too are your travel essentials!

With that in mind, here’s a useful list of travel essentials for the adventurous traveller!
The right insurance. No matter what type of vacation you’re heading out on, you should not do so until you’ve obtained the appropriate travel insurance. After all, this is one of the easiest ways to stay safe when traveling abroad. When choosing your policy, you should be sure that it provides you with activity-specific coverage, especially if your itinerary is on the adventurous side. For example, you must ensure you’re covered for activities such as watersports, hiking and so on!
The right swimwear. If you’re going to be dabbling in water-based activities during your trip, such as surfing, waterboarding or jet skiing, you should ensure that you wear the appropriate swimwear. This can enhance your comfort, protect you from sunburn, and even prevent minor injuries. Fortunately, you have many options to choose from in this regard, including rashies. Believe it or not, there are plenty of stylish rash guards available to buy online so that you don’t have to sacrifice style for comfort and practicality!
The right footwear. If you’re going to be spending a lot of time on your feet during your vacation, you should ensure that you’ve packed the right footwear, too. For example, while you may have your eye on a stylish pair of sandals, you need to think about whether or not they’ll hold up in different kinds of terrain or whether or not they’ll leave you with uncomfortable blisters!
Ideally, you should try to wear your chosen shoes for a few days around the house before you set out on your vacation. This gives you a chance to break them in!
A first-aid kit. Accidents can happen at any time – including on your vacation. As such, it is always useful to have a first-aid kit to hand so that you can quickly deal with any minor ailments, ensuring that they do not detract from all of the fun you are having. For example, band-aids and blister plasters can feel like life-savers when you’re on a long hike in a national park!
A portable charger. Having a reliable portable charger to hand is also useful when traveling, especially if you’re going to be out and about for the entire day. After all, if you use your phone often, whether to take pictures or to navigate from A to B, the chances are that it will run out of battery pretty quickly.
Having a reliable (and ideally waterproof) portable charger to hand means that you’ll never be caught without your phone. This could be particularly useful in an emergency situation, as you can quickly reach out for help and support no matter where you may have wandered!
