Off-Campus – The Legacy Luxe Edition – Life According to Jamie

My set of the Off-Campus Luxe Editions from The Bookish Shop is finally complete! My copy of The Legacy was delivered recently and so my set is complete. Let me tell you, my journey with getting this series has been a long one.

The pre-order for the first 4 books in the 5 book series was in the summer of 2022. I knew ahead of time when the pre-order would drop and I knew I was going to be on vacation and likely without cell service in the national parks of Washington state. So I made a plan to ask my brother to pre-order it for me. This was nerve racking because I didn’t know if he’d remember or be as diligent as I would be when ordering a special edition! I secured that pre-order but then do to manufacturing issues and whatnot the series did not ship until 2023. At the time, The Bookish Shop said The Legacy would be sold at a later time and that people who got the original pre-order would get first dibs.

Then, 2024 rolled around and there was no word on The Legacy. I, honestly, believed that they just weren’t going to sell it after all the issues they had with the original set. And then, over this past summer they announced the pre-order for it finally and reiterated that if you bought the original pre-order you were going to have early access. I signed in all ready to place my order at the appointed time and it wouldn’t let me add it to my cart! I had to put in a customer service ticket and hope that they would get back to me before it sold out. Thankfully, they did get back to me that same afternoon and I was able to get it!
