Book Review: Restore Me
I’m moving along with the Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi and finished Restore Me yesterday. I’ve been enjoying the series since the first book, but I mentioned in my review for the previous book, Ignite Me, that I was finally really loving it. After reading this book, I am fully invested in these characters and story.

The novel picks up shortly after the end of Ignite Me. Juliette is the new Supreme Leader of North America after leading the rebellion and killing Anderson, Warner and Adam’s father. She thought it would lead to a war immediately with the other sectors and Supreme Leaders, but it’s been eerily quiet. Do the other leaders not care that she just overthrew the Reestablishment in North America or are they planning something? Eventually, the Supreme Leaders sent their children to visit unexpectedly. Are they there to pay their respects to Juliette as they say or are they spying? All this is going on while secrets of Juliette’s past are uncovered that she never knew and/or was made to forget. Will she be able to trust anyone again after she learns about the secrets they kept from her?
I’m fully invested in this series now and I need to know what’s going to happen next! I also need these characters to survive and to have happy endings! I loved being back with these characters and seeing what happens next for them. Juliette frustrated me a little in this book because of how she was acting and at times she was being pretty immature. But then I remember she’s supposed to be around 17 or so so maybe it’s realistic.
I can’t wait to read the next book!
