Quotes from the Shadows of the Tenebris Court Series

A few days ago I posted my review for the third and final book in the Shadows of the Tenebris Court, A Promise of Lies by Clare Sager. I was thinking of doing an aesthetic post for this series, but it can be hard to find aesthetic pictures of fantasy books that aren’t fan art. Then, I had the idea to pick a quote from each book that shows the evolution of Kat and Bastian’s relationship.

A Kiss of Iron – “I’ve done awful things, Kat. Some I’m not proud of. Don’t think that just because I’ve helped you, I’m some normal hero. I’m the villain in may other’s people’s stories.”

A Touch of Poison – “At your feet, all rulers kneel. I’m no hero, Katherine, but, please let me be your villain”
