The Scarlet Veil Aesthetic
When I was reading The Scarlet Veil by Shelby Mahurin recently, I could imagine everything in the book because of how descriptive it was. Even though dark settings (and throw in a sort of gothic setting and vampires) creep me out, it wasn’t enough to deter me from reading and thoroughly enjoying the book. Of course I had to make an aesthetic board for the novel.
““Les Éternels stalk the streets by moonlight, preying on the weak and seducing the immoral. That’s why we always sleep at nightfall, darlings, and always say our prayers.”
