Last Five 5 Star Reads

I always enjoy looking back at my GoodReads reads and seeing what I rated the books. It’s rare, but once in a while I change my star rating for a book after I’ve sat with it for a while. It might be weeks or months later and I realize a book stayed with me longer than I thought it would and should be rated higher or after some time I realize maybe it wasn’t quite as great as I originally felt. But for the most part, my ratings stay the same.

I had a look and rounded up my last five 5 star reads since it’s been a while since I last did it around Christmastime.

• The Things We Water by Mariana Zapata – I loved the found family aspect of this book.
• Malibu Rising by Taylor Jenkins Reid – I loved the relationship the Riva siblings had with each other.
• Heavenly Bodies by Imani Erriu – A fantasy romance novel that had me wanting to squeal with delight.
• Circe by Madeline Miller – Just epically beautiful.
• The Twisted Throne by Danielle L. Jensen – I loved Ahna and James and all the plot twists I didn’t see coming. I need the last book and I need to see James grovel!
