Book Review: Lovers Like Us
I just finished book 2 of 13 in the Lovers Like Us series by Krista and Becca Ritchie – the 2nd generation spin-off series to the Addicted/Calloway Sisters series.

Lovers Like Us picks up shortly after Damaged Like Us. At the end of Damaged Like Us, Moffy and Jane are in the midst of a media firestorm after rumors swirl that the two best friends/cousins are secretly together. The two are under scrutiny and their families businesses have taken a hit. In an attempt to fix their reputations, get the public to drop this disgusting rumor, and make money for charity at the same time, they decide to go on a national tour to meet fans, sign autographs, take photos, and do q&a panels. Moffy and Jane are accompanied by Charlie and Beckett, Jane’s twin brothers, and their cousin Sulli. The other kids are all still in school and too young to join. And, of course, all of their security guards are with them as well.
Can this tour repair the public’s view of Moffy and Jane? Will the siblings/cousins/security guards get sick of each other traveling on a tour bus and being together 24/7? Their families may know, but can Moffy and Farrow keep their relationship secret to the public and keep people from finding out the fact that the celebrity and bodyguard are together and in love? And to top it all off, Moffy has a stalker.
I always love being reunited with the Hales, Cobalts, and Meadows families. I love Moffy and Farrow together, but I think their nonstop talk about wanting to sleep together and them having sex in almost every scene they are alone together ended up just being too much and got a bit tiring honestly. I think there was so much more that could’ve been explored about their developing love for each other over the months of the novel and to keep their relationship primarily physical, even though they keep expressing how much they love each other, just did their relationship a disservice in the novel.
Overall, I really enjoyed the book, the storyline, and seeing these beloved characters again. But, I think there could’ve been more about Moffy and Farrow falling for each other and less of them not being able to keep their hands off each other.
