Book Review: Headstrong Like Us

Headstrong Like Us is the 6th book in the Like Us series by Krista & Becca Ritchie. The novel goes back to Moffy and Farrow and follows them as they get ready for their wedding.

This book made me fall back in love with Moffy and Farrow because even though I still really liked their last book, I was starting to get tired of reading all about them. Rose and Thatcher were a fun break from Moffy and Farrow for books 4 & 5. Anyway, I loved this book and following along as they prepared to get married and navigated living back at Moffy’s family’s home until they found a new place to live. There is also a baby storyline in this book. As they discuss what they want to do in terms of kids in their future (adopt, find a surrogate, etc.) they suddenly have the opportunity to become the legal guardians of a 4 month old baby boy. Now on top of preparing for their wedding, looking for a new place to live, dealing with the nonstop paparazzi, and some family issues, they also have a baby to take care of now. Will their destination wedding go off without a hitch or will paparazzi find out where they’re going? Will they be able to take care of the baby without getting too attached and falling too in love in case the baby’s birth parents come back in the picture?

I loved this book and the little family Moffy and Farrow created. I’m excited to see what happens next for them even though I think this was the last book from their POVs. But it’s the Hales/Cobalts/Meadows so you know we’ll still see a lot more of them in this series and all the spinoff series that I still have to get through!
