Book Review: Fall Into Temptation

I’m loving the Blue Moon series by Lucy Score and just read the 2nd book in this 8 book series last week – Fall Into Temptation.

This novel follows the middle Pierce brother – Beckett – and Gianna Decker. Beckett is the town lawyer and mayor that everyone loves. Gia is new to town with her two kids. She opened a yoga studio in town and is renting a small house in Blue Moon as she navigates life post divorce. She wanted to move to Blue Moon to be closer to her dad. Beckett and Gia have instant sparks the first time they meet. The problem? Gia and her kids are renting the guest house in Beckett’s backyard so that could be a conflict of interest. And Gia’s dad is Beckett’s mom’s boyfriend whom he has complicated feelings towards since he still misses his late father. But with how much they’re going to be seeing one another around town – and in their own yard – will they be able to keep things platonic?

I loved this book. Beckett and Gia were both such good characters and I loved Gia’s kids and how comfortable they immediately felt with Beckett. The chemistry between them was so good and I just adored Beckett’s relationship with her 5 year old daughter, Aurora. I loved that she calls him “Bucket”! I could’ve done without the third act breakup, but the way it worked out and the role the Beautification Committee played made up for it a bit. I can’t wait to keep reading this series and immerse myself even more into this universe.
