Book Review: On the Market
I have really enjoyed Karissa Kinword’s Dirty Delta series over the past couple years (Christmas in Coconut Creek and For Pleasure or Worse) so when I saw that she was putting out a Dirty Delta novella about Angelo Duran (Mateo’s brother) and Mia Russo (Natalia’s sister) I knew I had to read it especially after their explosive chemistry and “hatred” for one another in For Pleasure or Worse! On the Market is a quick read following these two headstrong characters who are wildly attracted to one another but try to fight it.

Angelo and his parents moved down to Florida from New York to be closer to Mateo. Angelo and his dad closed up their construction business and now Angelo is joining Mateo’s tech business, but he still needs to find a place to live and his parents have given him a month to move out. Mia is a big shot luxury realtor in south Florida and Natalia asks her sister for a favor to help Angelo find a house. Mia can’t stand Angelo, but agrees to help. Now the two have to work together to find Angelo’s dream home despite getting on each other’s nerves. But, do they really hate each other or are they attracted to each other and trying to fight their feelings?
I really enjoyed this book. I loved Angelo and Mia and since it’s a novella, the whole ‘will they or won’t they’ thing went pretty quickly. I liked their dynamic so much that I wish we got a longer novel focusing on them!
