“Wait for me”

While looking at photos/video clips I took on my girls trip to Kent Island, Maryland back in July with one of my best friends I noticed that in a handful of them my friend is walking just a couple steps ahead of me since I’m walking slower to take the photos and videos. This actually worked out perfectly for my joke-y post today because last year we saw Hadestown together and…did not like it haha. We have seen quite a few Broadway shows together over the years and Hadestown is definitely the one we liked the least. It has become a bit of a joke between us. Anyway, we also agree that the song, “Wait for Me”, is the best song in the show and we’ve seen a bunch of social media videos of people using the song when someone is walking too fast or too far ahead of them i.e. a dad on a mission at Disney World while his family trails behind etc. Anyway, since my friend can’t stand the show I thought it would be extra funny to use the song in a compilation video of her walking slightly ahead of me on our trip!
