When the Enemies Become Lovers – Tourist Season

I love the enemies to lovers trope and it’s always fun when you get to that turning point from enemies to lovers. In Tourist Season by Brynne Weaver, Harper and Nolan definitely start out as enemies since Nolan is there to kill Harper! But after they get to know each other, they start to fall for each other.

When things start to shift, there’s a part where Harper says,

“Nolan’s hand finds mine in the dark. He doesn’t look over to see a tear slide down my cheek. But he squeezes my hand like he knows it’s there. I close my eyes. And I can almost see it, the way a little light glimmers in my heart. His touch is a beacon in the night.”

I have Harvest Season on my shelf, but I haven’t gotten to it yet. I plan to read it before Halloween, which I think will be perfect timing!
