When He Was Wicked – A Lady’s Prerogative Quote
I finished the last book in the Bridgerton series over the summer and while, as a whole, I didn’t love the series as much as I anticipated or hoped I would, I did really enjoy some of the books in the series. When He Was Wicked is one of my favorites in the series. There is a quote from Francesca in the novel that I loved about a lady’s prerogative.

Francesca: “I just felt like it. Isn’t that a lady’s prerogative?”
Michael: “I thought it was a lady’s prerogative to change her mind.”
Francesca: “It’s a lady prerogative to do anything she wants.”
I love it especially because even as “modern” as Bridgerton is for the regency era, it is still the regency era which is so male dominated.
I loved this book and I’m interested to see how they will execute Francesca’s season since they made changes with the Michael character!
