Burn Bright – Cobalt Brothers Banter

There are a lot of great fictional siblings, but one of my favorite families and sets of siblings are the Cobalts from the world Krista & Becca Ritchie have created. I loved the Calloway sisters in their original Addicted series and now with their second generation spinoffs (the Like Us series and the Cobalt Empire series) I love their kids too. The Cobalt siblings are especially amazing which is to be expected for the offspring of Rose and Connor!

In Burn Bright, the brothers are teasing Ben and playfully giving him a hard time about his girlfriend, Harriet. There is a scene where they talk about how Ben has made their lives more difficult because their parents love Harriet.

“So you’ve screwed us all over, brother.”

“What’d I do?”

“Chose a girlfriend that Mom literally adores. Thank you for setting the bar unimaginably high for the rest of our significant others.”

I’m looking forward to reading the next book in the series, Silver Sweet, that focuses on Tom Cobalt. I have it, but am still trying to get through some more fall reads and then before you know it I’ll be reading holiday books. But I hope to read it soon!
