Another weekend, another awards show. This one I did watch from start to finish. I think the only ones I do that for are the Golden Globes, Oscars, and Emmys. Television and movies are a huge love of mine so maybe that’s why I actually take the time to watch those entire shows. VMA Fashion Picks
MTV’s Video Music Awards, VMAs, were last night and so begins awards season. I browsed through a bunch of the red carpet looks and saw some really crazy ensembles, which was to be expected. The looks that usually top my list though are ones that I personally would want to wear or wish I could wear and that does not include totally out there looks or anything too outrageous. Last night were the Golden Globes and as promised I’m writing about my thoughts on the show and fashion. First off, let’s talk about the show in general. I always think the awards shows are too long, but I can’t really think of anything I’d cut out! Maybe the allotted acceptance speech time should be shorter. It might also help if winners aren’t sitting a mile away from the stage! Last night was the 41st annual People’s Choice Awards. I only saw bits and pieces of the awards show and didn’t watch the red carpet, but did look at some of the pictures from the stars’ arrival. Believe it or not, it was not that easy to find pictures last night! The first ever People Magazine Awards was last night. I’ll be honest, I didn’t really watch the show. I saw a few minutes here and there, but the rest of the night I spent catching up on other shows I had waiting for me on my DVR.
