People’s Choice Awards: Fashion Picks
Last night was the 41st annual People’s Choice Awards. I only saw bits and pieces of the awards show and didn’t watch the red carpet, but did look at some of the pictures from the stars’ arrival. Believe it or not, it was not that easy to find pictures last night! I know it’s not one of the big awards shows like the Academy Awards or Golden Globes (which are this weekend), but it’s not like they’re that small either. Anyway, in general, from what I did see/find I was slightly underwhelmed by the fashion choices of last night. Perhaps some of these stars are saving their best styles for Sunday’s Golden Globes. In any case, below are my top picks!
Greer Grammar

Love the ball gown silhouette, the black lace and golden belt to cinch the waist.
Portia De Rossi

I’m a little on the fence with this one. I can’t decide if I love it or not, but I thought I’d throw it in. I love the colbalt blue color of this Zuhair Murad jumpsuit. I think it might look more classy if there wasn’t the nude material in the middle part. I know that sounds weird – that it would be classier if it was just skin and not a nude colored material, but that section just makes me think of a figure skating costume. So maybe I would officially love it if the neckline was raised just a little and the nude material was taken out. However, I do like all the lines and color!
Sarah Hyland

I feel like Sarah Hyland always looks age-appropriate. I love this sparkly, beaded silver Christian Siriano number with the longer sheer overlay. I’m a fan of that style and I think the color and sparkle is perfect for the New Year!
Stania Katic

I love the black and white color palette Stania Katic chose and this tulle ball gown looks like a work of art.
There may have been some other amazing looks last night, but like I said it was a little hard to find all the red carpet pictures so from what I did find these 4 were my top picks!
