Golden Globes 2019 – Red Carpet Picks

Did you watch the Golden Globes last night? Carol Burnett’s award was so emotional! Awards aside, I have to say the fashion this year was on point. I feel like the past few awards shows I’ve been struggling to find a top 8 let alone top 10 looks. But last night’s Golden Globes I really liked so many looks. I picked out 12 or 13 of my favorite looks, keep reading to see! Emma Stone’s Louis Vuitton gown is the most ethereal look of the bunch. The detail is amazing and I read that it took 800 hours to make! Halle Berry looks amazing! Does she age? I love this color on…

    Oscars 2018 Fashion

Did you watch the Oscars last night? This is the first Oscars in my recent memory that there were so many looks that I just wanted to say “what in the world are they wearing?”. Really, so many bizarre and/or ill fitting looks. But there were still some looks that I really loved so let’s get started! Sandra Bullock was one of my favorite looks of the night. I don’t always love her style, but this Louis Vuitton dress I love. The neckline looks great on her and I love how the gold covers the top half of the dress and then slowly becomes more scattered and shows more black…

    Grammy’s 2017 Fashion Picks

Did you watch last night’s Grammy Awards? I didn’t, but I did record it so that I could watch the performances when I get home from work today. Any must-see performances? Despite not seeing the actual awards last night I did look through the red carpet fashion as per usual and picked out my favorite looks. There were some really gorgeous looks and some…interesting…ones. I don’t want to say anyone was the “worst dressed” since fashion is so subjective, but personally I think a few looks were more suited for a costume party than a red carpet. But, it is the Grammy’s and looks tend to be a little more…

Fashion Picks: People’s Choice Awards 2017

Last night was the annual People’s Choice Awards which means I’m back with a fashion post rounding up my favorite looks from the night! This actually works out perfectly because as I write this (Wednesday night) I’m so exhausted, so all I need to do with this post is share my favorite looks and write a little about why I like each look. No photo editing, no long post detailing what I’m wearing or what I made etc. So basically, I’m keeping this short and sweet! Unlike more formal award ceremonies like the Golden Globes or the Oscars, the People’s Choice Awards are a little more lax so you’re not going…

Golden Globes 2017 – Fashion Picks

I love award shows! Not only to see who will win or for the comedic moments, but for the fashion. Overall, the show was great. Jimmy Fallon was wonderful and his opening was so funny. I love when the hosts kind of round up the highlights of the year. And can we just take a minute to talk about how amazing and inspiring Meryl Streep’s speech was?! But back to the fashion –  I’ve rounded up top 10 looks of the night with one honorable mention. Without further ado, here we go in no particular order! Reese Witherspoon looked like a breath of fresh air in this beautiful Versace gown.…

    Emmy’s 2016: My Fashion Picks

Last night was the Emmy Awards (I just realized I can change the font color so I’m having fun with that) and as with many awards shows I’m rounding up my favorite looks I saw on the red carpet. Did any of you watch the show? Jimmy Kimmel’s opening was pretty funny. I love when award show hosts incorporate different shows/movies into their opening sequence. And how emotional and touching was Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ acceptance speech? Let’s get to my picks and if I can figure it out I’ll post a poll at the end of this so you can vote for your favorite look. First up, I love the color of Jane Krakowski’s…

    Blake Lively @ Cannes

The Cannes Film Festival wrapped up a few days ago, but I’m just now getting around to talking about the amazing fashion seen there all week. While I saw a ton of amazing looks and a handful of questionable ones, I want to focus on Blake Lively who is arguably the star of the Cannes red carpet in recent years. I have written before that I was always (and still am) a Blair Waldorf style fan and not as big of a Serena Van der Woodsen fan, but I’ll make an exception for this post because I seriously envied all her looks at Cannes last week. She did not disappoint at…
