Oscars 2018 Fashion

(ABC/Patrick Wymore)

Did you watch the Oscars last night? This is the first Oscars in my recent memory that there were so many looks that I just wanted to say “what in the world are they wearing?”. Really, so many bizarre and/or ill fitting looks. But there were still some looks that I really loved so let’s get started!

Sandra Bullock was one of my favorite looks of the night. I don’t always love her style, but this Louis Vuitton dress I love. The neckline looks great on her and I love how the gold covers the top half of the dress and then slowly becomes more scattered and shows more black as it gets down to the bottom of the dress.

Octavia Spencer looked fabulous in this dark green gown. I love the folded fabric for a twist on a strapless/off the shoulder gown. She looks so good!

Molly Sims looked very glamorous in this deep plunge Naeem Khan gown with all-over beading and high slit.

I saw a glimpse of Kristin Cavallari’s gown on Instagram earlier in the day and I couldn’t wait to see the whole dress. She looks like a princess, but in the best way possible and not like a little kid. This photo isn’t the best as it looks like it’s washing her out a bit, but it was really a gorgeous gown.

This is the best photo I could find ofΒ Kelly Ripa’s gown so forgive the velvet rope! But I love this black ball gown with the multicolored train! So classic and beautiful in the front and fun, yet still sophisticated, in the back!

Gina Rodriguez is quickly becoming one of my favorite stars to see on the red carpet. She killed it again in this Zuhair Murad gown. The belt is such a nice contrast and the enveloping train is so figure flattering on her. Hands down, my favorite look of the night.

I’m often drawn to slinky, flapper style dresses on the red carpet and Gal Gadot fulfilled that for me last night in this sparkly, deep plunge gown with the perfect necklace.

Allison Williams looked beautiful in this Armani PrivΓ© gown. I love the illusion neckline and beading.

These dresses are all so different, but I think they’re all gorgeous and suit the women wearing them so well. My favorite was definitely Gina Rodriguez!

What were some looks you loved?
