Did you catch the Oscars last night? I was legit laughing out loud at Melissa McCarthy coming out for the costume award, dressed like a queen from the 18th century with stuffed animals attached all over! So as I did my homework on the red carpet fashion last night I have to say I wasn’t wow’ed by anyone’s outfits. Did you watch the Oscars last night? This is the first Oscars in my recent memory that there were so many looks that I just wanted to say “what in the world are they wearing?”. Really, so many bizarre and/or ill fitting looks. But there were still some looks that I really loved so let’s get started! Sandra Bullock was one of my favorite looks of the night. Did you watch the Oscars last night? I loved Justin Timberlake kicking the night off with “Can’t Stop the Feeling” – so fun! Jimmy Kimmel was funny as host and I loved all the humorous and inspirational moments regarding our country’s current state of affairs from all the presenters and award winners. Happy Leap Day! Before I get into my fashion oriented post for today, I have something to say about leap day. Just hear me out. Tonight is the biggest night in film – The Oscars! “The Revenant” is up for Best Picture and is one of the three Best Picture nominees that I’ve seen. I also saw “The Martian” and “Bridge of Spies”, both of which I thoroughly enjoyed.
