Golden Globes 2017 – Fashion Picks
I love award shows! Not only to see who will win or for the comedic moments, but for the fashion. Overall, the show was great. Jimmy Fallon was wonderful and his opening was so funny. I love when the hosts kind of round up the highlights of the year. And can we just take a minute to talk about how amazing and inspiring Meryl Streep’s speech was?! But back to the fashion – Β I’ve rounded up top 10 looks of the night with one honorable mention. Without further ado, here we go in no particular order!

Reese Witherspoon looked like a breath of fresh air in this beautiful Versace gown. This yellow is perfect for her and I love the cut of the bodice.

Emma Stone looks magical in this literally star studded Valentino gown. She looks ethereal and beautiful!

Gillian Anderson stuns in this white Jenny Packham gown. The illusion halter and jeweled neck are beautiful!

Brie Larson brightens up the red carpet with this bombshell of a gown by Rodarte. I love the criss-cross design on the bodice and the color and sweetheart neckline really remind me of Jessica Rabbit!

Mandy Moore is usually a hit or miss at these kinds of fashionable events but this Naeem Khan gown is a total hit! The color is gorgeous on her and I love the sheer cape!

Kristin Cavallari‘sΒ Idan Cohen gown reminds me of old school Hollywood glamour. The intricate beading is beautiful. And can we take a second to admire how amazing she looks after having 3 kids?!

I love this colorful Zuhair Murad ball gownΒ Olivia CulpoΒ wore. It was so bright yet not over the top and ridiculous.

Emily RatajowskiΒ does sultry so well and this slinky yellow gold Reem Acra gown is made for her! I had to include a shot of the back of her gown because it is just as beautiful as the front.

I love this deep red gownΒ Christine Evangelista wore. It is so simple with no fancy beading, embroidery, or lace work, yet it works. The plunging neckline works for this dress and the choker is so on trend.

Blake Lively always brings her A game on the red carpet and thisΒ Atelier Versace gown is no exception. The detailing is perfect right down to the matching shoes with gold, glittering heels. And those matching triangular pockets are a great detail!
My honorable mention goes toΒ Giuliana RancicΒ in Rani Zakhem. The reason I have it in honorable mentions is because I’m not sure the sweet floral print is right for a night time formal event.Β But it’s so beautiful and I’m just drawn to this gown and the color palette so much that I can’t not mention it!

There were more gowns I really liked but I had to just pick my favorites or else we’d be here forever! I don’t think there’s one look that stood out to me the most and was a clear favorite. Maybe Mandy Moore? Or Emily Ratajowski? I don’t know! Whose look did you like or not like?
