Golden Globes 2019 – Red Carpet Picks
Did you watch the Golden Globes last night? Carol Burnett’s award was so emotional! Awards aside, I have to say the fashion this year was on point. I feel like the past few awards shows I’ve been struggling to find a top 8 let alone top 10 looks. But last night’s Golden Globes I really liked so many looks. I picked out 12 or 13 of my favorite looks, keep reading to see!
Emma Stone’sΒ Louis Vuitton gown is the most ethereal look of the bunch. The detail is amazing and I read that it took 800 hours to make!

Halle BerryΒ looks amazing! Does she age? I love this color on her and the mixed fabric is so pretty. I especially love the twist at the hip. There are rarely any Zuhair Murad dresses that I don’t like.

I love the colors inΒ Camilla Belle’s Jason Wu gown. The blue and green combo is my fav and the neckline is beautiful.

I love this color onΒ Jameela Jamil. I especially love this gown because she revealed that she’s wearing jeans underneath because she was cold! I love how real she is.

Lady GagaΒ looked likea princess in this powder blue Valentino gown. The puffy sleeves make me think of a high fashion and pretty version of those 80s prom dresses with the poofy shoulders/sleeves.

Thandie Newton looks like a disco queen in this Michael Kors dress in the best way possible. I love the cutouts and the all-over silver sequins looks amazing here and not cheap at all.

My favorite part ofΒ Kaley Cuoco’s Monique Lhuillier gown is the dark blue top and bow. It looks so rich and luxurious paired against the stark white skirt.

Okay, I wish I could pull of a dress like this!Β Alison Brie looks gorgeous in this dreamy Vera Wang dress. I love the tulle skirt that leads in to the tapered straps over the sequin bandeau style piece. This might be my favorite dress of the night!

There’s something old school that I love aboutΒ Jeannie Mai’s green and gold gown. It makes me think of an oriental fabric or something from the 60sI love the slit in the front too.

We’ve been seeing more of these pant/skirt looks from the celebrities on red carpets in recent years andΒ Julia RobertsΒ really pulls this one off. I love the one shoulder champagne top and the fitted black pants.

Kristen BellΒ looked beautiful in this Zuhair Murad gown. I love the little sparkle at the shoulders and I’m always a sucker for a plunging neckline – maybe because I could never pull that off with my love handles haha.

Catherine Zeta-Jones looks timeless in this vibrant green Elie Saab gown. I love the folded details and the front slit.

Lastly,Β Charlize Theron looked great in this classic Dior gown. I love the bow and how sleek it looks.

Those were my favorites of the looks I saw! Were there any that you loved?
