White Bean Chicken Chili
I know chili is usually a fall and winter food, but hear me out – white bean chicken chili is lighter, more brothy than a regular chili, and I for one can have soup/stew/chili any time of year. Usually I make a turkey chili, but about 2 years ago I wanted to try white bean chicken chili and I found this recipe. I used this delicious recipe but modified it. The recipe is a slow cooker recipe and I modified it to cook on the stove. Keep reading to see how I changed it up. For this recipe you’ll need: chicken breast or thighs (I use rotisserie chicken) oil onion…

Turkey Chili & Fries
The weather is starting to get warmer, but with being stuck inside so much lately I think we can all use some comfort food. Chili is one of those comfort foods for so many. I’ve shared a chili recipe on here before – a family recipe. This time I’m sharing an equally delicious chili that I’ve been making for about a year. I found this recipe on Pinterest last year and it’s so good, I’ve made it multiple times and I’m actually planning to make it later this week! For this recipe you’ll need: olive oil onion garlic bell pepper ground turkey chili powder cumin dried oregano cayenne pepper salt…

Stovetop Chili
Who doesn’t love chili on a cold winter’s day? Okay, granted it was an unseasonable 60 degrees yesterday but it’s February so let’s pretend we’re huddled inside on a cold, snowy day. Lately I’ve been making a delicious turkey chili (recipe on that coming in the future) but for today I wanted to revisit my old chili favorite from a recipe my aunt gave me years ago. You can use any meat for this chili and normally my aunt does turkey but for these photos (the last time I made this recipe) I used meatloaf mix. It’s something different than turkey and meatloaf mix is nice because it’s a mix…

Chili Mac & Cheese
Happy Saturday! I’ve said it multiple times this season and I’m going to say it again – this weather is crazy. It was spring like weather just a week ago and then yesterday it was snowy and the weather forecast for this Tuesday is a potential major snow storm. Part of me would love a snow storm since I’d been wanting more snow this winter. The other part of me is done with winter and ready for a change. Today I’m sharing another meal I made via Pinterest. This one-pot chili mac & cheese is something I made a while ago but am just getting around to posting now. I used…

Chili Pasta Bake
Thanksgiving is just a few days away now! Before we start to see tons of Thanksgiving food posts, I have another “regular” food post to share. Recently, I made a Chili Pasta Bake that I found on Pinterest. It brought me to the recipe – here. The recipe was easy to follow and I really stuck to it for this meal. The only thing I didn’t do was put sour cream and green onions on top for serving because I’m not a huge sour cream fan. This recipe uses shells and actually now that I think about it I did use more pasta than the recipe calls for. The recipe…
