    NYX Correcting Concealer

I’ve always been intrigued by colored concealers that are geared towards specific purposes. NYX has 22 shades in their Hi Definition Photo Concealer line and I picked up the green shade which is supposed to conceal/correct redness. I have been using the green concealer for a few weeks now and first of all I have to say it is a beautiful shade of green, even though that probably has nothing to do with anything. It does lessen the appearance of redness from pimples and little marks, but it’s important to note that while it takes out redness, it doesn’t fully conceal. If you want to really conceal marks you’d have…

    Christie Brinkley’s Authentic Beauty

Have you guys seen those commercials and infomercials for Christie Brinkley’s skincare line Authentic Skin Care? She’s always been gorgeous and I’m in awe of how amazing and youthful she still looks. I haven’t tried her skin care line, but when I was offered a few items from her Authentic Beauty line, I had to say yes! I was able to pick out 3 items. I chose the Under Eye Concealer in the shade “Light Warm”, the Blink Instant Volumizing Mascara, and Cheek Chic Color & Contour Powder in “Thrill”. First off, how pretty is the rose gold packaging? So sleek and great quality. Under Eye Concealer – I’m hesitant…

    Neutrogena SkinClearing Blemish Concealer

We’ve made it to the middle of the week! Luckily this week has been seeming to go pretty quickly. Amidst the busy week, the weather has gone crazy. Today is supposed to be almost spring-like with temperature nearing 60 which is crazy for February. And then tomorrow the temperature is going to drop by 30 degrees and we’re supposed to get a half a foot to a foot of snow possibly! How insane is that for weather changes? In this post I’m talking about Neutrogena’s SkinClearing Blemish Concealer. There are a million concealers on the market and I’ve tried a good few of them. Some I’ve liked, some I felt like…

    Covergirl + Olay The De-Puffer

Well it took me a year but I finally finished up my IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Undereye Concealer. That tube seemed to be never ending and although I had other products I wanted to try out I wanted to finish this one first. I’m a little OCD about finishing things. Anyway, now that I finally finished up the IT Cosmetics concealer, I finally got open up my Covergirl + Olay The De-Puffer Eye Concealer. The concealer, which I got in “light”, claims to reduce the look of puffy eyes and dark circles. I don’t suffer from puffy eyes, but I do have dark circles so anything that claims to reduce those I’m always…

    NYX HD Concealer

I’ve been using the NYX HD Concealer for a few weeks now and I’m really liking it. It took me a while to get through the Revlon Photoready Concealer, which is a stick concealer so this liquid concealer from NYX was a welcome change. NYX offers different shades for the concealer – I’m using Light – and has also added in color correcting shades. The wand applicator is easy to use and not at all flimsy. The concealer formula is not thick, but still offers good coverage. I like that it feels cool on the skin giving off a refreshing feeling. Another plus is that it doesn’t set too quickly so…

    Review: Bye Bye Under Eye

Under eye circles are something I’ve struggled with since my late teens/early twenties. I want to say they began to first be really noticeable when I started college. I wanted to attribute it to late night study sessions, but they never went away so I guess it was just coincidental timing. I’ve tried a few under eye concealers over the years, which have all worked fine but I haven’t come across a holy grail concealer yet. Keep in mind, I still haven’t tried out the MAC Pro Longwear concealer or NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer yet, both of which I know get high praise from many. After recently finishing up my…
