Neutrogena SkinClearing Blemish Concealer
We’ve made it to the middle of the week! Luckily this week has been seeming to go pretty quickly. Amidst the busy week, the weather has gone crazy. Today is supposed to be almost spring-like with temperature nearing 60 which is crazy for February. And then tomorrow the temperature is going to drop by 30 degrees and we’re supposed to get a half a foot to a foot of snow possibly! How insane is that for weather changes?
In this post I’m talking about Neutrogena’s SkinClearing Blemish Concealer. There are a million concealers on the market and I’ve tried a good few of them. Some I’ve liked, some I felt like didn’t really conceal anything. I was excited to try this product out since I’ve been breaking out a lot lately. The pimples (the kind that are large and under your skin) all seem to congregate in one area lately, beneath my cheek but above my jaw. It’s been a pain.
Packaging is nice, I always like products that you have to click because they’re fun. I guess it’s the child in me that enjoys clicking the pen. The concealer comes up onto the sponge tip of the pen, which is not very hygienic but I guess you could always put the product onto your finger.
So does it do the job? I think it’s an average concealer. It does a nice job of offering coverage but it’s definitely not high coverage. Decent, but not high coverage. When I put the concealer on my pimples there’s a slight tingling which I like to think means the skin clearing/blemish medicine is working its magic. But does it work? Well, I haven’t broken out more but my pimples haven’t gone away much either. The other thing I don’t particularly like about this concealer is that there is so little product in the pen. I’ve been using it for about 2 weeks now and it’s half gone already.
Bottom line – I like it but I don’t love it. I don’t mind using it but I probably wouldn’t buy it again since it’s so little product for just a regular coverage concealer.
