I don’t know what it is about Bobbi Brown, but something about buying things from the brand makes me feel cool. It’s not like I own many Bobbi Brown things – it’s really just a few – but I feel cool nonetheless! Have you guys seen those commercials and infomercials for Christie Brinkley’s skincare line Authentic Skin Care? She’s always been gorgeous and I’m in awe of how amazing and youthful she still looks. I haven’t tried her skin care line, but when I was offered a few items from her Authentic Beauty line, I had to say yes! I was able to pick out 3 items. My days are long when I’m at work so my makeup needs to last as long as possible. I’m at work by 7:30 AM and after teaching all day I’m often having things to do after work my goal is to not look like a mess with half worn off makeup by 10 hours later. A few weeks ago Mikasa Beauty reached out to me and offered me a really sweet discount code on their website plus a complimentary makeup sponge – their Lemon Drop sponge which retails for $10. I, a firm believer that you can never have too many makeup brushes, took them up on their offer and bought a small set of their oval brushes and redeemed my Lemon Drop. We’ve made it to the middle of the week! Luckily this week has been seeming to go pretty quickly. Amidst the busy week, the weather has gone crazy. Lorac Pro Palette 3
Lorac is one of my favorite beauty brands. The eyeshadows are spectacular and so buttery soft. I haven’t tried their foundations or concealers so I can’t say it’s my all-around favorite brand, but I’ve tried items from all the other categories and they’re always winners. Guerlain Météorites Illuminating Powder Pearls
Guerlain is one of the fanciest, expensive, high-end beauty brands out there. I’ve owned one thing ever from the brand (the Météorites Primer) years ago and every time I put it on my face it felt luxurious.
