Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick

I don’t know what it is about Bobbi Brown, but something about buying things from the brand makes me feel cool. It’s not like I own many Bobbi Brown things – it’s really just a few – but I feel cool nonetheless! I love Bobbi Brown shimmer bricks because they’re so luxurious but so simple to use and they’re like an everyday, lazy girl product but…luxurious…? if that makes sense. You’ll see what I mean!

This shimmer brick is in the shade “Nectar” and as you can see there are thin strips of different shades of these pinky coral colors and a highlight shade. You can use the shades individually if you want like for eyeshadows or you can do what I love to do which is swirl all the colors together for a glowy blush on the cheeks! Here’s how Sephora describes it: “Achieve a glowing hint of shimmer with Bobbi Brown’s Shimmer Brick Highlighter. This highlighting compact features five shades infused with superfine pigments that reflect radiance and light. Just dust all five shades lightly on the top of cheekbones where the light hits your face.”

 I know it says it’s a highlight, but that’s because it offers such a pretty glow, but I use it as a blush and trust me it’s gorgeous and natural looking!
