    Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick

I don’t know what it is about Bobbi Brown, but something about buying things from the brand makes me feel cool. It’s not like I own many Bobbi Brown things – it’s really just a few – but I feel cool nonetheless! I love Bobbi Brown shimmer bricks because they’re so luxurious but so simple to use and they’re like an everyday, lazy girl product but…luxurious…? if that makes sense. You’ll see what I mean! This shimmer brick is in the shade “Nectar” and as you can see there are thin strips of different shades of these pinky coral colors and a highlight shade. You can use the shades individually…

    Christie Brinkley’s Authentic Beauty

Have you guys seen those commercials and infomercials for Christie Brinkley’s skincare line Authentic Skin Care? She’s always been gorgeous and I’m in awe of how amazing and youthful she still looks. I haven’t tried her skin care line, but when I was offered a few items from her Authentic Beauty line, I had to say yes! I was able to pick out 3 items. I chose the Under Eye Concealer in the shade “Light Warm”, the Blink Instant Volumizing Mascara, and Cheek Chic Color & Contour Powder in “Thrill”. First off, how pretty is the rose gold packaging? So sleek and great quality. Under Eye Concealer – I’m hesitant…

    Flower Designed Blushes

I was recently ordering from Walmart and needed to find another item in order to get free shipping so I browsed through Drew Barrymore’s line, Flower Beauty. I’ve gotten a few eyeshadow quads, cheek products, and lip products from the line before and have really enjoyed it. I saw that there was a blush that had a rose or flower design – the Flower Pots Powder Blush line –  and it reminded me of Milani’s Rose Powder Blushes that came out a few years ago, which I’ve had for a while now. I decided to do a side-by-side comparison since they look so similar! The Flower Beauty blush (left) is in the…

    Tarte Amazonian Blush Color Wheel

Have you used any Tarte products? I have a few items from the brand, mostly from their holiday collections. I think their eyeshadows are good, but their cheek products are amazing. I got the Amazonian Blush Color Wheel around the holidays and its not currently available, but I’m sharing it with you because they often come out with new blush and cheek palettes and color wheels so this can serve as a general idea of what you might see in future products. Plus, even though this particular color wheel isn’t available anymore there are still other cheek palettes and wheels available! The disc has blush and highlight shades on both sides of…

    Lorac Evening Soiree

I hope you all had a nice weekend and are ready to start off the new week. Today’s post is about the Lorac holiday duo – “Evening Soiree” which is a blush and highlight duo. This particular duo came out exclusively to Kohl’s during the holidays so unfortunately it’s not available any more. I know, I know – why am I sharing it if it’s not available anymore? I’m sharing it because the quality is so good, as I expected since I’ve yet to be disappointed by a Lorac product. Even though this duo isn’t available anymore, Lorac still has a variety of blush and cheek products in their permanent…

    Smashbox: Fusion Soft Lights

If any of you have accounts on Sephora’s website then you know the site has a nifty “loves” feature which is basically adding items to your list of favorites. Smashbox’s Soft Fusion Lights has been on my list of loves for a really long time. Like probably two years, long time. I picked it up in the “Baked Starblush” shade. What drew me to this powder is the pretty pinwheel disc design with varying shades of pink, rose, and white. I love multitasking products so this fusion soft lights which offers a natural pink to your cheeks mixed with some luminous glow is right up my alley. Smashbox says you can…

    Majorette Blush

Last year when Benefit came out with the Majorette Cream to Powder Blush I thought the packaging looked adorable, but since I wasn’t a huge cream makeup fan I didn’t really think seriously about purchasing it. I’ve never been a huge fan of cream products, but they’ve been slowly growing on me. I first started coming around to the idea of them back in the winter with the BareMinerals Pop of Passion Blush Balm. So seeing as how I was starting to actually like cream products and Ulta had Majorette on sale for $10 from its original $29 price tag, I decided to get it. How amazing is that deal?! The packaging is…

    Pop of Passion Blush Balm

I have always been a powder blush wearer much preferring it over cream blushes. In fact I think I’ve mentioned it on here before that while I’ve tried cream blushes before they just weren’t my thing. Well all that has changed now that I’ve tried BareMinerals’ Pop of Passion Blush Balm . The product’s description states: Give cheeks the look of pure passion. This blush balm has a lightweight texture and weightless, buildable color for effortlessly smooth, even application. Melt-in moisture provides hydration while passion fruit seed oil with vitamin E helps nourish. You’ll be left with a gorgeous, glowing finish and a comfortable color-stain. BareMinerals offers 3 shades and I…

    Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush

With all the crazy stuff going on in the world, I want to try to keep today’s post light-hearted. But first I do want to begin today’s post by sending my thoughts and prayers to the people of France, especially my readers from France. I decided to stick with my plan of writing a beauty post for today to keep this space positive and light. I’ve been hearing about how amazing Hourglass’ Ambient Lighting Blushes and other face products are for a year or two now – basically as soon as they hit the shelves. Back in the spring, I bought my best friend a blush from the brand for…

    Rediscovered: Dreamsicle Blush

I spoke about Laura Geller’s Dreamsicle Blush back in my August Favorites post and I wanted to dedicate a post to this rediscovered product. Dreamsicle is a beautiful baked blush that’s a bright, bubblegum pink with yellow swirls. It looks bright in the pan, but it gives a beautiful light pink glow to the cheeks. You don’t need to be afraid of the brightness, because the color is light so you’d actually have to work hard to overdo it! This blush came in a set I bought a few years back so I’m not sure if this particular blush is available on its own. I’ve only tried a few Laura Gellar…
