Restyled: Emerald Speckled Sweater + Lace Extender

It’s a restyling kind of day. Last winter I shared my love for my new emerald green speckled hi-lo sweater on here and it was well loved by me last year. I was excited to bring it back out for the cold weather and show how I wore it out to dinner recently because I decided to wear it completely differently. The first time that I shared the sweater on here (which you can see by clicking the link above) I wore it with a gold leaf necklace and black pants. This time around I wasn’t wearing the sweater to work but rather out to dinner so I went with a different look. I wore it with black leggings, over-the-knee boots, and my new lace extender camisole.

The lace extender top is how I was able to wear leggings with this sweater and I’m in love! I first heard about this company (Grace and Lace) that sells these lace extenders from food blogger Cooking with a Wallflower. I think she mentioned it in one of her weekly finds posts and I remember being intrigued by the idea of them so I found myself clicking on the website. I bought 2 lace extenders – this scalloped one seen here and another longer one that is a dress extender. I plan to wear that with sweaters or tops that I’d like to create a dress-like look with. Another cool thing about this company is that a portion of their sales goes to Angel House which builds orphanages in India. So you can look fabulous and do a good deed at the same time!

I really love how this look turned out. This speckled sweater with the scalloped lace extender, leggings, and otk boots went together perfectly. I hope you enjoyed this restyling!
