    Restyled: Bee Embellished Top

I love making warm weather pieces work for the cold weather and the easiest way to do that is by pairing tops with a sweater or cardigan. This navy blue french terry short sleeve top with brassy/bronze bee embellishments paired perfectly with my mustard waffle knit cardigan. Top: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Sweater: American Eagle | Pants: Uniqlo | Shoes: Express The short sleeve, slightly peplum top paired so well with this more fall and winter-y oversized cardigan. I highlighted the bronze colored embellishments by choosing the mustard cardigan, dark brown pants, and tan faux suede shoes to make this short sleeve top work for winter. An easy…

    Multicolor Embellished Shift Dress

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving, if you celebrate! Are you doing any Black Friday shopping? I don’t plan to do any in-store shopping. I’m not about to deal with all the crowds and traffic. But I plan to browse the online sales especially if I can find some good Christmas gifts. Today I’m sharing what I wore for Thanksgiving yesterday. This dress from Vici Dolls was the perfect dress for Thanksgiving. I love the collar and detachable bow brooch. The colors and embellished material are so pretty. It feels a little scratchy, but isn’t itchy at all because the dress is lined inside. The gold exposed zipper…

    Embellished Mules

It’s no secret that I absolutely love mules. They’re so cute, comfortable, and stylish. You can wear them casually or more dressed up. Over the past year I have collected a few super cute mules that I love styling. The pair I’m sharing today I got in the winter so it was too cold to wear them. Needless to say I was waiting for the weather to warm up so I could break them out! These black mules with pearl, crystal, and gold stud embellishments are so fun and completely jazz up an outfit. Floral Paillette Embellished Top

Are you watching the royal wedding?! I plan to round up some photos from the wedding of the year to share in a post tomorrow so be on the look out for that! Speaking of weddings, I have my friend’s wedding to attend this evening – the first of the 3 weddings I have in the next 4 weeks. Craziness! I’m wearing a dress I’ve worn twice before to events and has been on the blog so I’m not going to post it on the blog, but be sure to check out my Instagram Stories and you’ll get to see it! But for today’s post, I’m talking about this top…

    Embellished Keyhole Top

How is everyone’s week going? Quick post for me today because I’m short on time. I’ve been waiting for months to wear this green embellished keyhole top because it’s sleeveless. Well, it’s still not warm enough to wear it out, so I wore it with this grey cardigan that feels like a fuzzy, sweatshirt material. Top: Juicy Couture via Kohl’s | Sweater: LOFT | Pants: GAP | Watch: Fossil I love the light shimmer in the knit of the top and the embellished keyhole is so pretty! I think it looks great with the grey cardigan – a nice alternative to being able to wear this tank on its own.…

    Mini Bag Trend

So Cute: Mini Bags by lifeaccordingtojamie featuring mini handbags     Mini bags are becoming more popular and this is just my style. I love the look of big bags but honestly I never carry that much stuff with me so my bag ends up being so empty. The few items I put in my purse just end up swimming in a large bag and that’s just for a regular purse. When you’re dressing up for an event or fancy outing you really don’t want to carry a large purse. The key is to find a bag or clutch that is small enough to not get in the way…

    Bee Mine

I don’t know what it is about tops that are french terry, but I love them. Maybe it’s because it feels like I’m wrapped up in a towel or robe so even if I’m just getting dressed to go to work, it doesn’t feel so bad. When I saw this dark blue top with bee gem embellishments and a flared out silhouette I thought it was cute for work. But when I felt it and it had that french terry, terry cloth feel I had to have it! Top: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Pants: LOFT | Watch: Olivia Burton via Nordstrom Do I like bees anywhere near me? Nope.…
