Floral Paillette Embellished Top

Speaking of weddings, I have my friend’s wedding to attend this evening – the first of the 3 weddings I have in the next 4 weeks. Craziness! I’m wearing a dress I’ve worn twice before to events and has been on the blog so I’m not going to post it on the blog, but be sure to check out my Instagram Stories and you’ll get to see it!

But for today’s post, I’m talking about this top with floral paillette embellihsments. What are paillettes, you may be asking? I didn’t know either until I looked up the description of this top. So paillettes are pieces of glittering material used to ornament clothing. This light sand colored top is sleeveless and features these floral paillettes around the top in different colors and designs. They’re so so pretty! I wore this top on Mother’s Day and the weather was not cooperating. It was cold and rainy so even though I did go through with wearing this top and white jeans, I added a bright pink sweater. Originally I thought about wearing a cream sweater, but then I decided on the pink one to brighten up the look.

I finished off this spring look with my rose gold mules and loved the whole look. I love the look of the 3D flowers and the beautiful layers popping off in floral form off the top are just too cute for words!
