Peonies
At my parents house, they have peonies growing in two spots. A little section next to the driveway and one little spot in the backyard by the deck. I don’t remember when they planted the peonies, but they’ve been there for as long as I can remember. Peonies are so beautiful and I hate that they bloom for such a short amount of time. Seriously, they only bloom for maybe 2 weeks and if there’s a bad storm while they’re in bloom then forget about it. They’ll all be drooping and the petals will have fallen off. Vases
Yesterday was my first day back to work for the week since I got the flu. I only missed 2 days of work, which doesn’t seem like a lot considering I had the flu, but I guess when you take in to account that I started feeling sick on Friday and then spent the whole weekend sick, it makes sense. Anyway, my day back wasn’t bad and I took it easy most of the day and mostly just directed my students. #fbf Fresh Flowers
Happy Friday! TGIF for sure. So for today’s edition of #fbf – Flashback Friday – I’m not really sure if it counts as a flashback. Yes, I took this photo last weekend. But, the flowers are still in the vase on my kitchen table looking fresh. So I’m not sure if it counts or not, but oh well! Having fresh flowers in the house is a nice breath of fresh air this winter.
