Purple & White Stock Flowers

It’s my first day of spring break! It came at the perfect time because I was on the verge of pulling my hair out with my students this week. Hopefully the week off won’t fly by. I have a lot I want to get done and a 48 hour trip to California in the books, but I’m hoping to get some much needed rest too.

I love getting fresh flowers. They’re pretty and help brighten up my place with some freshness. When I was at the store last weekend I picked up a bouquet of white stock flowers and purple stock flowers to combine for a vase. I love stock flowers and they last quite a while. It’s been almost a week and my flowers are still going very strong. They do drink a lot of water though. I find myself adding water to the vase at least once a day.

I thought this color combo was so sweet for Easter!
